LAS VEGAS, NEV. -- Located in the heart of the famed Las Vegas "Strip," Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel is definitely at the center of the action.

Carnaval as celebrated around the world is the theme that runs throughout Harrah's Las Vegas, creating
a party atmosphere that is felt all over the 17.3-acre property. The Carnaval design incorporates music,
icons and entertainment from those festive, international celebrations. The sights of Carnaval come
brilliantly to life in two brightly colored murals, which hang behind the front desk, and tell the story of
Las Vegas. A spectacular 30? x 90? hand-painted mural folds and wraps from the exterior of the property
to the interior, the largest such mural ever produced. Other hand-painted murals adorn the casino,
including one of a subdued scene of Monte Carlo and a colorful Carnaval illustration.

The casino takes on the celebrations of Carnaval from the ceilings decorated with dynamic fireworks to
the confetti-splashed carpeting. Harrah's Las Vegas boasts 86,664 square feet of casino space, which
includes the luxurious high limit gaming area. This intimate section consists of four five-spot layout
blackjack tables, one baccarat table, one pai gow poker table and one mini-baccarat table. Each game is
colored in a brilliant purple hue accented with gold. Adjacent to the table game area is an exclusive
lounge for high limit players, featuring delicious hors d'oeuvres, a wet bar and private restrooms.

The high limit gaming area is open Monday through Friday from 11 to 3 a.m., or as needed to
accommodate customers, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Just around the corner from the table
game area is the newly-renovated high limit slot area, featuring five dollar to one hundred dollar slot and
video poker machines.

Harrah's innovative Total Gold player's card earns customers points through slot play at every Harrah's
location in the United States. Customers can also redeem points or use their complimentary rewards at
any Harrah's casino in the United States, no matter where they earn them. Harrah's blazed the trail within
the gaming industry with the Total Gold program. It was the first company to recognize and reward a
valued customer from one property to another. In addition, redeeming complimentaries is also very easy
for customers. The ATM-like Total Rewards Kiosks let customers select the reward they want from their
point balance, or determine available comps and print out a Total Rewards Voucher on the spot. The
Total Gold card is also used to recognize table game players, although points are not earned through
table play.

Harrah's Las Vegas boasts 2,587 hotel rooms and 90 hotel suites, housed in the 23-story Mardi Gras
North Tower, the 15-story Mardi Gras South Tower and the 35-story Carnaval Tower. The property
includes 25,000 square feet of convention space, an arcade, outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities.
The Spa is open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, with treatments available from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Within The
Spa is a state-of-the-art health club, whirlpools, a steam room, sauna and beauty salon.

The dining options at Harrah's Las Vegas range from American favorites to the flavors of the Orient.
The Range Steakhouse offers succulent steaks, prime rib, seafood and poultry entr?es, presented in an
intimate setting that boasts a spectacular view of the famed Las Vegas "Strip" and the dazzling lights of
the city. The Range Steakhouse is open nightly from 5:30 p.m., and most entr?es are priced from the low
to upper 20s. The exceptional view may also be appreciated from The Range Steakhouse Piano Bar,
which offers live entertainment nightly from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Visitors to the lounge may enjoy cocktails
and premium wines, specialty coffees, delicious appetizers and fine cigars.

Unparalleled Italian cuisine is found at Caf? Andreotti. In addition to traditional menu favorites like veal
parmesan and chicken piccata, Caf? Andreotti serves up an ever-changing lineup of new items, as well.
As if exceptional cuisine weren't enough, dining in the enchanting atmosphere of Caf? Andreotti is a
treat in itself. Vivid, life-like murals beckon from every angle, creating the feel of an Italian market within
the Tuscan hills. Caf? Andreotti is open Wednesday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m., and entr?e prices
begin at the middle teens.

Asia brings the international flavors of the orient to Harrah's Las Vegas with an enticing selection of
Chinese, Asian, Thai, Indian and Japanese cuisine. Diners have both traditional and original dishes from
which to choose, such as spicy kung pao chicken or Chilean sea bass with miso sauce. Asia's
exceptional dishes start with only the freshest ingredients. Fish tanks are located in Asia's kitchen, and
contain a selection of live fish, shrimp, crab and lobster. The dining experience is enhanced by the
restaurant's elegant decor, intimate ambiance and flawless service. Asia is open Friday through Tuesday
from 5:30 p.m., and entr?e prices begin at the middle teens.

The Garden Caf? offers a flavorful variety of dishes anytime of day or night. Breakfast items range from
lighter fare, including fresh fruit or yogurt, to heartier items such as apple streusel pancakes. Lunch
features sensational fresh salads like the Tuscany Italian chef's salad, the west coast cheese steak
sandwich or a selection of juicy burgers, cooked to order. Evening specialties are tailored to temp all
taste buds and include such entrees as the Santa Fe grilled chicken, four-cheese tortellini, slow-roasted
prime rib or the blackened shrimp jambalaya. Guests may enjoy the varied cuisine presented in the
relaxed atmosphere of the Garden Caf?, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most entr?es are priced
under $10.

The Fresh Market Square Buffet offers a wide variety of delicious menu items throughout the day. The
buffet features fresh food prepared at individual cooking stations, such as Asian, Italian, Mexican and
seafood. These stations surround the market square, while the pleasing aroma of homemade meals fills
the air. Select dishes, such as omelettes, are cooked to order. The Fresh Market Square Buffet's
signature dessert is the tempting creation, Bananas Foster.

A cheerful staff caters to guests, and the bright farmers market decor is colorful, airy and denotes
freshness. The Fresh Market Square Buffet is open for breakfast, Monday through Friday, from 7 to 11
a.m., and from 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Breakfast is priced at $7.99 for adults and $4.99
for children to age 10. Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is priced at
$8.99 for adults and $5.99 for children to age 10. Dinner is served daily from 4 to 10 p.m., and it is priced
at $12.99 for adults and $7.99 for children to age 10. A lavish champagne brunch is served on Saturdays
and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is priced at $12.99 for adults and $7.99 for children to age 10.

Club Cappuccino is a treat for coffee connoisseurs as well as those looking for a quick snack or
decadent pastry. Club Cappuccino offers a wide variety of gourmet coffees, espressos, specialty drinks,
delicious pastries, hearty sandwiches, soups and a variety of salads. Also to be found is a selection of
coffee-related gift items, including designer mugs. Visitors to Club Cappuccino may choose to enjoy
their repast in the patio-style setting that is reminiscent of a sidewalk cafe, or the more secluded area
located adjacent to the Garden Caf? restaurant. Guests may also take their freshly-brewed coffee "to
go." Club Cappuccino is open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. on
Fridays and Saturdays. Prices range from $2 to $4 for coffee and from $3 to $8 for food items.

The Winning Streaks Stadium Caf?, located within the Sports Book at Harrah's Las Vegas, scores big
with fans of great food. Winning Streaks serves up hearty appetizers like the "Knockout Knachos,"
loaded with seasoned beef, chili con queso, jalape?o peppers, black olives, diced tomatoes and green
onions. Diners may also chose the "Win-Place-Show", Tuna BLT, Marathon Chicken Sandwich, Triple
AAA Soft Tacos, or a burger, grilled to perfection. Winning Streaks is open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.,
and prices range from $5 to $10.

From illusion to laughs, Harrah's Las Vegas knows how to entertain its guests. The magical, musical
dance extravaganza, "Spellbound," literally mesmerizes audiences. "Spellbound" is a Dick Foster
production starring Mexico's foremost illusionist, Joaquin Ayala. Ayala combines ancient Mexican
culture with state-of-the-art magic effects to highlight the show's themes, while bringing an international
flair to the stage. A popular, urbanized tap dance routine is also mixed into the metropolitan city
segment.

The "Spellbound" production includes the hilarious antics of comedy juggler Michael Holly, and the
amazing agility of the performers known as Human Design, who have perfected the art form of
slow-motion, control acrobatics with the use of no wires or ropes. "Spellbound" is presented at 7:30 and
10 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Tickets are $34.95, and available at Harrah's Box Office.

The funniest and freshest faces in comedy are showcased at Budd Freedman's world-famous Improv
Comedy Club at Harrah's Las Vegas. Each week three new comedians perform at The Improv, creating a
show that is fresh, unique and very funny. The newly-renovated Improv is housed in a 400-seat,
custom-built showroom that boasts the highest quality sound and lighting systems. In addition, the
venue includes traditional comedic touches displayed at The Improv's other locations. Performances at
The Improv are 8 and 10:30 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Tickets are $19.95 plus tax and are available
at Harrah's Box Office.

La Playa Lounge offers exciting entertainment in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. La Playa creates the
perfect beach fantasy with multicolored palm trees, rocks intertwined with bright, fiberoptic lighting and
a three-dimensional mural that illustrates the ultimate "day at the beach." The full service bar offers
tropical drinks available in a signature La Playa Lounge glass. A nine-screen video wall is featured,
along with popular bands playing live music seven days a week. A variety of musical mixes are
performed, including Latin Rhythm, Jazz, Pop and Brazilian. La Playa Lounge is open 24 hours a day,
while the live bands play from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Mondays; 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Tuesdays through
Thursdays; 2:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; and 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Sundays.

There are several unique retail outlets at Harrah's Las Vegas, including two locations of the Jackpot
store. Jackpot features a mix of Harrah's logo merchandise, from clothing and hats to picture frames and
key chains. The high-quality clothing items at Jackpot include T-shirts, polo shirts and jackets, as well
as a variety of garments for children. Customers will also find an extensive selection of magazines,
newspapers and books at Jackpot, along with sundry items, travel cases, items from Harrah's spa,
beverages and even fresh flowers. The main Jackpot store is located in the hotel's lobby and is open 24
hours a day. The other Jackpot may be found at the south end of the property, across from La Playa
Lounge and just steps from Carnaval Court. It is open from 8 to 1 a.m., daily.

The newly-expanded Art of Gaming store offers a wide, eclectic selection of souvenir and gift items with
a gaming theme. Merchandise such as art books, candles and picture frames may be found, along with
unique art work and special collector's items from the world of entertainment. The Art of Gaming is
located in the hotel lobby and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily.

Carnaval Court at Harrah's Las Vegas Casino & Hotel offers unique retail options to shoppers in the
form of Carnaval Corner, On Stage and the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company.

Carnaval Corner is an innovative retail outlet that carries an enticing selection of gourmet foods,
cookbooks, coffees, liquors, glasses and cigars. Special ingredients from many of Harrah's fine
restaurants may also be found at Carnaval Corner, such as the olive oil from Caf? Andreotti and the
delicious sauce used to create the Bananas Foster at the Fresh Market Square Buffet. Carnaval Corner is
open from 8 to 1 a.m., daily.

On Stage is all about entertainment. Music buffs have a large selection of CDs from which to chose,
which they can listen to within the store before making a purchase. On Stage houses a variety
entertainment-themed gift items, like picture frames and interesting books about show business.
Customers will also find a multitude of souvenirs, as well as backstage gear from Harrah's shows. On
Stage is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily.

Walking into the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is like strolling back in time to the days of the soda
fountain. The smells of chocolate and freshly-brewed coffee mingle and waft through the air to tempt
visitors as they chose from a delectable array of ice cream, shakes, sundaes, premium chocolates and
coffees. Visitors may also bring a bit of Ghirardelli home with them through a packaged gift item
containing treats of chocolate, coffee or signature Ghirardelli souvenirs like a mug or teddy bear.
Ghirardelli's is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., daily.
